Returns & Right of Withdrawal

This page explains return conditions and the right of withdrawal for orders placed on KALI HOCHO.

Right of withdrawal for EU consumers

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you may have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days from the day you receive the item, in accordance with applicable consumer protection rules.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must contact KALI HOCHO within the withdrawal period by email at info@kalihocho.com.

Condition of returned items

Returned knives must be in the same condition in which they were received.

The item must not be used, sharpened, modified, cleaned aggressively, polished, disassembled, damaged or altered in any way after delivery.

All included accessories, boxes, saya, packaging, documents or related items must be returned together with the knife, where applicable.

Vintage, NOS and pre-owned items

Many items sold by KALI HOCHO are vintage, pre-owned, unused old stock or individually selected pieces.

Signs of age, storage, patina, oxidation, scratches, sharpening marks, handling marks or minor imperfections may be part of the described condition of the item and do not automatically constitute a defect.

Please read the product description and review all photos carefully before placing an order.

Return shipping

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Returned items must be shipped with tracking and adequate packaging. For high-value items, insured return shipping may be required.

The buyer is responsible for the item until it is received back by KALI HOCHO.

Refunds

Refunds are processed after the returned item has been received and inspected.

If the item is returned used, damaged, altered, incomplete or in a condition different from the condition in which it was delivered, KALI HOCHO may reduce the refund where permitted by law.

Damaged parcels or delivery issues

If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please report the issue immediately to the carrier and, where possible, accept the parcel with reservation according to the carrier’s procedure.

Contact KALI HOCHO as soon as possible and keep all packaging materials, labels and documentation until the issue is resolved.

Business buyers and non-EU customers

Return rights may differ for business buyers and customers located outside the European Union.

For international orders, customs duties, import VAT, brokerage fees and other local charges are not refunded by KALI HOCHO.
